Long long time ago...a prince from Jawa named Parameswara, travelled accross the South China Sea and landed onto a foreign land. There..he saw a spectacular phenomenon, the mouse deer he found there was smart and strong enough to topple (matrix kung-fu style) his hunting dogs. So impressed with the event, he took it as an omen that this land will bring prosperity to him, so he decided to built his empire there. He named it Melaka, from the name of the tree he was sitting under when he took rest once he landed. Therefore, Melaka, the land of prawn paste and chicken rice balls was found...
